SIIM Awards
Awards of the Society of Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM):
The Roger A. Bauman, MD Award is presented for the best student paper each year at the annual meeting. This award was named to honor Dr. Bauman’s distinguished career in radiological informatics research and practice and his status as Founding Editor of the Journal of Digital Imaging.
Both scientific Hypothesis-driven and Innovative research awards, are presented at the SIIM Annual Meeting to the best scientific posters and demonstrations on display.
Travel awards presented to the annual meeting to new investigators with an area of study and interest in imaging informatics, who are in a full-time training program, or who have completed their training program within 2 years of the SIIM Annual Meeting. Individuals must present the accepted scientific paper at the annual meeting.
Annual awards by the Journal of Digital Imaging (JDI) Editorial Board to the Best Papers and Most Valuable Reviewers for the year.
Check back in June for more information on how to submit an abstract for the 2014 SIIM Annual Meeting in Long Beach, CA and apply for SIIM 2014 scientific awards. The deadline for abstract submissions and award applications is September 9. 2013.
